1. Service Description

Wait.ie ("the Service") monitors Irish government appointment booking systems for cancellation slots. The services we monitor include RSA driving tests, Prometric driver theory tests, National Car Testing (NCT), Passport Office appointments, and GNIB/IRP immigration registration.

Each service is billed as a one-time payment for cancellation alerts:

Alerts— You receive instant email notifications when cancellation slots are detected. You book the appointment yourself via the relevant official website. Pricing varies per service.
Connected monitoring— Some services require your own official account, vehicle details, or booking details to check availability for you. We use those details only for the monitoring you request.

Each purchase covers monitoring of one service for 60 days, or until you are successfully booked — whichever comes first.

2. No Guarantee of Slots

Cancellation slots are inherently unpredictable and depend entirely on third-party government systems. We cannot guarantee that cancellation slots will be found, that alerts will arrive before slots are taken by others, or that a booking will still be available when you open the official booking service. The Service is a monitoring and notification tool, not a guarantee of earlier appointments.

3. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed securely via Stripe as one-time charges. There are no recurring monthly fees and no automatic renewals. Prices are in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable.

60-day money-back guarantee: If we do not find you an earlier appointment within 60 days of purchase, you are entitled to a full refund. Email support@wait.ie to request a refund.

4. Stopping Monitoring

You may stop monitoring at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us. Because purchases are one-time payments, there is nothing to cancel for billing purposes — your monitoring simply ends. You can purchase a new monitoring period at any time.

5. Connected Monitoring Requirements

Connected monitoring may require you to provide valid login credentials, vehicle details, or booking details for the relevant official service. You are responsible for ensuring these details are correct, current, and belong to you. We store connection details securely using encryption at rest. We are not liable for missed alerts or failed checks due to incorrect, expired, or restricted details.

Wait.ie is independent and is not affiliated with RSA, NCTS, the Passport Service, Irish Immigration Service Delivery, Prometric, or any government department. We do not bypass official booking systems, resell appointments, or guarantee that an official service will accept a third-party monitoring workflow.

6. Data We Collect

To provide the Service, we collect your email address, name, service monitoring preferences, and, where needed, encrypted account, vehicle, or booking details for connected monitoring. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to resell or broker appointment slots. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service. One account per person. Abuse of the Service may result in immediate termination without refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

Wait.ie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding 3 months.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify active customers of material changes via email.
